Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop SAS programs to manipulate and analyze large datasets
Create and maintain SAS macros and templates for efficient data processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and project objectives
Write complex SQL queries to extract and aggregate data from multiple sources
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Perform data validation and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
Generate statistical reports and visualizations to present data findings to stakeholders
Troubleshoot and debug any programming errors to ensure smooth execution of programs
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAS tools and techniques and implement them in programming
Mentor and provide guidance to junior programmers as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a SAS Programmer
Proficient in SAS programming, including data manipulation, statistical analysis, and report generation
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
