Position: React Tester

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $68 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented React Tester to join our growing team. As a React Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our React-based applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report any bugs or issues, as well as conduct thorough testing to ensure the best user experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct manual and automated testing on React applications to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility across different devices and browsers
2. Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications
3. Collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot any bugs or issues, and provide detailed reports and recommendations for resolution
4. Continuously monitor and improve testing processes and strategies to ensure efficient and effective testing methods
5. Utilize various testing tools and techniques to ensure maximum test coverage and identify any potential risks
6. Work closely with the development team to understand project requirements and provide testing support throughout the development cycle
7. Communicate any identified issues or concerns to the project manager and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
8. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in React testing methodologies and tools, and make recommendations for their implementation

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a React Tester or a similar role
3. Strong understanding of React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
4. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Selenium, or Cypress
5. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timelines
