Position: Senior Android Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Android Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Android applications that meet our clients' needs. You will play a critical role in the development process by providing technical expertise and leadership to the Android development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of Android applications for our clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Android development team.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and reliable code.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Identify and address technical issues and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Android development.
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex Android applications.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Proficiency in using third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful API services.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
