Job Title: Sybase Consultant

Salary: $92 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Sybase Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Sybase Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to clients using Sybase database management systems. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and implement solutions that optimize their use of Sybase databases. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients using Sybase databases
• Design, develop, and implement solutions to optimize the performance and functionality of Sybase databases
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Conduct database performance tuning and optimization to ensure maximum efficiency and availability
• Monitor database systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database changes and upgrades
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the database management space
• Provide training and support to end-users on database systems as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Sybase databases
• Extensive knowledge of Sybase database architecture and administration
• Strong understanding of SQL and database performance tuning techniques
• Experience with database replication, clustering, and mirroring
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a consulting role is a plus
• Sybase certifications are highly desirable
