Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Watson Query Developer. As a Watson Query Developer, you will be responsible for understanding and translating complex business requirements into efficient and effective queries for the Watson AI system. You will work closely with our team of data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to develop and implement queries that will improve the overall performance and capabilities of the Watson platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for the Watson AI system
• Design and develop efficient and accurate queries to extract data from various sources and integrate them into the Watson platform
• Utilize SQL and other programming languages to manipulate and transform data as needed
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of queries to ensure accuracy and functionality
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of queries to improve the overall efficiency of the system
• Document and maintain detailed records of all queries developed for future reference and reuse
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in query development and integration to constantly improve the Watson platform

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in query development and data integration
• Strong proficiency in SQL and other programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience working with AI systems, specifically Watson, is highly preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
