Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to develop technical design solutions for our products.
Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production.
Conduct thorough research on materials, construction methods, and production techniques to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs.
Review and approve samples and prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to resolve any technical issues and ensure timely and accurate production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sourcing, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in technical design to continuously improve our products.
Mentor and train junior technical designers to develop their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical design role, preferably in the fashion industry.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and production processes.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of sustainability practices in product design is a plus.
