Job Overview: As a VMware Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide them with automated solutions that meet their requirements. You will also collaborate with our team of engineers to develop and implement best practices for virtualization and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement virtualization infrastructure using VMware technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.
• Work with clients to understand their business needs and develop automated solutions that meet their requirements.
• Collaborate with our team of engineers to develop and implement best practices for virtualization and automation.
• Monitor and maintain the virtualization infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to virtualization and automation.
• Develop and maintain documentation for virtualization infrastructure and automation processes.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve virtualization and automation processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in VMware virtualization and automation.
• Strong understanding of VMware technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
