Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.
Develop and maintain virtualization standards, policies, and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the VMware environment.
Work closely with other teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that align with the company's goals.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvement and optimization of the VMware environment.
Lead projects related to VMware infrastructure, including capacity planning, performance tuning, and upgrades.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of the VMware environment.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Document system configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in VMware virtualization technology.
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is required.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining VMware infrastructure.
Strong understanding of vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.
Experience with VMware automation and orchestration tools such as vRealize Suite.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
Familiarity with storage and networking technologies is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
