Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Writing Instructor to join our dynamic team. As a Writing Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students of various ages and backgrounds in the art of writing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in writing, as well as experience working with diverse groups of students. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and objectives
• Provide instruction in various writing styles, including creative writing, academic writing, and technical writing
• Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom discussions to enhance students��� understanding and application of writing concepts
• Evaluate students��� writing assignments and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Monitor and track students��� progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with other instructors and school staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Mentor and support students in developing their writing skills and building confidence in their abilities
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of writing instruction and incorporate them into teaching practices
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor���s or Master���s degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching writing at the secondary or post-secondary level
• Strong knowledge of various writing styles and techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with students of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching and mentoring
• Proficiency in technology and ability to incorporate it into teaching practices
