Key Responsibilities:

Create and execute manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications
Identify and document software defects and issues using bug tracking tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of defects
Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of software products
Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and other testing documentation
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and results
Mentor and train junior team members on manual testing techniques and best practices
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the software testing industry
Provide recommendations for process improvements and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with creating and executing manual test cases in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB or other software testing certification
Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
Familiarity with SQL and database testing
Experience in testing web and mobile applications
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
