Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal NLP Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal NLP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge natural language processing (NLP) solutions for our company. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of NLP engineers and data scientists, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative NLP solutions that will enhance our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of NLP solutions that will improve our company's products and services.
• Conduct research to identify the latest NLP techniques and technologies, and apply them to our projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of NLP engineers and data scientists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and data scientists, to understand business requirements and develop NLP solutions that meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain NLP models, algorithms, and tools to support various NLP applications.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with NLP systems, and implement solutions to improve performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in NLP, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into our projects.
• Act as a subject matter expert on NLP, providing guidance and support to other teams within the company.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in NLP, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other relevant languages.
• Solid understanding of NLP concepts, techniques, and algorithms, including deep learning and machine learning.
• Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, SpaCy, Gensim, and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with NLP applications such as sentiment analysis, topic modeling, named entity recognition, etc.
• Experience with cloud-based NLP services, such as Amazon Comprehend, Google Cloud Natural Language, or Azure Cognitive Services.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex NLP projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
