Job Title: Junior Cloud Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

Position Overview: As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our senior engineers to support our cloud-based solutions and ensure their reliability, scalability, and security. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and deployment of cloud-based solutions, including setting up new environments, configuring resources, and managing access control
• Support the maintenance and optimization of our existing cloud infrastructure, including monitoring for performance and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our cloud services and provide timely support to end-users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with other systems and applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within our infrastructure
• Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and efficient troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and experience with virtual private clouds (VPCs)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
