Position: Cloud Manager
Location: New York, New York, United States
Employment Type: Contract
Salary: $115 Per hour
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and scalability. You will work closely with our IT team and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain our cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our company's cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee the migration of on-premise applications and services to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Monitor the performance of our cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with our IT team to design and implement cloud security measures, ensuring the protection of our company's data.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with cloud service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal service levels.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology to make recommendations for improvement and cost optimization.
- Train and mentor team members on cloud technologies and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation of all cloud infrastructure and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing are a plus.
