Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture design and development process of our platform, working closely with the engineering team to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform platform architecture decisions
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, design documents, and architecture decisions
Develop and implement coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of the platform
Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of the codebase
Work with infrastructure and security teams to ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and scalable
Mentor and coach team members on best practices, new technologies, and architecture principles
Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the platform, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance its performance
Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement in the platform architecture

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in an architecture role
Strong experience in developing complex software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks
In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
Experience with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
Experience with database design and development, including relational and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
