Salary: $228000 - $256000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Edge Computing Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Edge Computing Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our edge computing initiatives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about emerging technologies and has a strong understanding of edge computing principles. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement edge computing strategies to optimize our company's operations and drive business growth
• Lead and manage a team of edge computing specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize edge computing use cases that align with business objectives and contribute to the overall technology roadmap
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of edge computing trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation within our organization
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure successful collaboration and execution of edge computing initiatives
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of edge computing solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
• Monitor and measure the performance of edge computing solutions, and make necessary adjustments to optimize their efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in edge computing, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within our company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in edge computing and 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of edge computing principles, architectures, and technologies, including edge devices, edge servers, and edge analytics
• Experience in managing and leading teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential
• Proven track record of successfully delivering edge computing projects, from conception to implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, and adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• Passion for emerging technologies and eagerness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry developments
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and work collaboratively to achieve common goals
