Job Title: Senior Big Data Architect

Salary: $130 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Big Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, as well as a strong understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the field. The Senior Big Data Architect will play a crucial role in shaping our data architecture and driving our data strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data solutions that meet the business needs and align with the company's data strategy.
• Lead the development and maintenance of our data architecture, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data systems to ensure efficient data processing and analysis.
• Develop and maintain data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data projects.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new data tools and technologies to enhance our data capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Big Data Architect or a similar role.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other big data technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Proven experience in leading data projects from conception to delivery.
• Knowledge of data governance and security principles.
• Certifications in big data technologies are a plus.
