Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Data Modeler, you will be responsible for creating data models that will be used to help drive business decisions. You will work closely with our team of data scientists and analysts to design, develop, and maintain data models that will support various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data models that accurately represent the organization's data assets
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into data models
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and ensure data integrity
• Conduct data analysis to identify patterns and trends in data
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data standards
• Work closely with the data engineering team to optimize data models for performance and scalability
• Participate in data governance activities to ensure data quality and compliance with regulations
• Provide support to end-users in understanding and utilizing data models
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data modeling techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in data modeling, database design, or data analysis
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
