Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain data management processes and systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and completeness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide solutions to optimize data workflows and processes
Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner
Implement data quality measures and perform data validation to ensure data integrity
Develop and maintain documentation for data infrastructure and processes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data operations, and make recommendations for improvement
Manage a team of data operations engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality work and performance
Communicate data-related updates, changes and issues to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven experience in designing, implementing and maintaining data management processes and systems
Extensive knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security and data privacy best practices
Experience with data warehousing, data lakes and ETL processes
Strong proficiency in SQL and other programming languages such as Python, Java or C++
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
