Salary: $115 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and leading the performance testing efforts for our organization. You will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests, analyzing and interpreting the results, and providing recommendations for improvement. You will also be responsible for managing a team of performance test engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of performance testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the performance testing efforts for our organization, including planning, designing, and executing performance tests.
• Develop performance test strategies and test plans based on project requirements and application architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and identify performance testing needs.
• Design and develop performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Execute performance tests and analyze results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
• Provide detailed performance test reports and recommendations for improvement to project stakeholders.
• Manage a team of performance test engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the success of performance testing efforts.
• Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools, techniques, and best practices, and implement them in our testing process.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and implement performance enhancements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide performance testing updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure the performance and scalability of our applications meet industry standards and user expectations.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues in production environments.
• Mentor and train junior performance test engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C# is a plus.
• ISTQB/ISEB certification in performance testing is preferred.
