Position: Principal Solutions Architect

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $320000 - $360000

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Principal Solutions Architect to join our team. As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our solutions, from design to implementation and maintenance. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and challenges, and design solutions that meet their needs
• Lead a team of solutions architects and provide technical guidance and support throughout the development process
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Conduct research and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the industry
• Evaluate and select appropriate tools, platforms, and frameworks for solution development
• Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of solutions, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
• Provide technical expertise and support to sales and business development teams during client presentations and proposals
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Mentor and train junior solutions architects to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy protocols in all solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of various software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
• Extensive experience with cloud-based solutions, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Experience in the development of enterprise-level solutions is preferred
• Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus.
