Job Title: Principal Interaction Designer

Salary: $270000 - $310000

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Interaction Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a Principal Interaction Designer, you will play a crucial role in the creation and implementation of innovative and impactful user experiences across various digital platforms. Your expertise in user-centered design principles and your ability to lead and mentor a team of designers will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design strategy and direction for our products and services, taking into consideration user needs, business goals, and technological constraints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and user researchers to define and prioritize design solutions
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and continually strive to enhance the overall design process and quality
• Act as a thought leader within the design team, advocating for user-centered design principles and driving innovation across the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in interaction design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating exceptional user experiences
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams
• A passion for staying updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and a desire to continually learn and improve
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively
• A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces across different platforms
