Salary: $247000 - $272000

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As the Lead SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and availability of our company's systems and infrastructure. You will lead a team of SREs and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain best practices for the development, deployment, and operation of our systems. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of SREs, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
• Develop and maintain best practices for system reliability, scalability, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable systems.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and proactively implement solutions.
• Design and implement automated processes for deployment, testing, and monitoring of systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, and implement relevant tools and techniques to improve our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of networking and network security.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
