Overview: We are seeking an experienced Edge Computing Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an Edge Computing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing cutting-edge edge computing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable edge computing solutions to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in edge computing, a passion for technology and a drive to continuously improve and innovate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop edge computing solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope and develop strategies for edge computing projects.
• Conduct research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve and optimize edge computing solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to edge computing solutions.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Continuously monitor the performance of edge computing solutions and implement improvements as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in edge computing to enhance our offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in edge computing.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
• Experience with edge computing platforms and frameworks such as Apache Edgent and AWS Greengrass.
• In-depth knowledge of edge computing architectures, protocols, and security.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and IoT technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality and scalable edge computing solutions.
