Job Title: Principal Knowledge Engineer

Salary: $135 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Knowledge Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Knowledge Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced knowledge management systems to support our organization's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of knowledge management systems and processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to address them.
• Design and implement strategies to capture, store, and share knowledge within the organization.
• Develop and maintain a taxonomy and ontology to organize and classify our company's knowledge assets.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on how to effectively utilize the knowledge management systems.
• Regularly review and improve existing knowledge management systems to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with the organization's goals.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on knowledge management best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in knowledge management to continually improve our processes.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of knowledge management systems, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate their knowledge management tools into our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in knowledge management, data management, or a similar role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of knowledge management principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of taxonomies, ontologies, and metadata.
• Proficient in using knowledge management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into knowledge management strategies.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
