Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy, including policies, procedures, and standards for data management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Conduct data assessments to identify data quality issues and develop strategies for data cleansing and enrichment.
Establish data governance metrics and dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor compliance with data governance policies and procedures and provide recommendations for remediation.
Develop and deliver data governance training and awareness programs to promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
Lead the development and maintenance of data governance tools and technologies.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance to continuously improve our data governance framework.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards.
In-depth knowledge of data management technologies, such as data quality tools, master data management, and metadata management.
Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of delivering successful data governance initiatives.
Professional certifications in data management or data governance (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) are preferred.
