Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement security controls for our cloud-based systems, including infrastructure, applications, and data
Develop security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate remediation measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions
Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential threats
Stay updated on emerging security threats and trends in cloud computing and make recommendations for improvements to our security posture
Lead incident response and investigation efforts in the event of a security breach
Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the security team
Act as a subject matter expert on cloud security and provide guidance to other departments within the organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security
Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, access controls, and secure coding
Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Experience in a leadership or mentorship role is preferred
