Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test embedded software for our products, including coding, debugging, and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop specifications for embedded systems
Develop and maintain software documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals
Utilize knowledge of hardware and software design principles to develop efficient and reliable embedded systems
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in embedded systems technology
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring the quality and performance of our products
Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance
Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
Work closely with the hardware engineering team to integrate software and hardware components
Conduct performance testing and optimization to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of embedded systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems development
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming language
Experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux, FreeRTOS, or VxWorks
Knowledge of microcontrollers and microprocessors, including ARM, PIC, or AVR
Familiarity with hardware design and schematics
Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers
Understanding of real-time operating systems and real-time scheduling
Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and continuous integration systems
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies
