Salary: $92 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Engineer to join our team. As a Virtualization Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization solutions for our company. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our virtualized systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain virtualization solutions, including server virtualization, desktop virtualization, and storage virtualization
• Monitor and troubleshoot virtualized environments to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement virtualization best practices and standards
• Evaluate and recommend new virtualization technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery plans for virtualized systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation for virtualization systems and processes
• Train and assist other team members on virtualization technologies and best practices
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in virtualization technology
• Provide 24/7 support for critical virtualization systems as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a virtualization engineering role
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix
• Experience with server hardware, storage, and networking technologies
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call support when necessary
