Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement edge computing solutions for clients, including hardware and software components
Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and develop customized edge computing solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, project managers, and sales teams, to ensure the successful delivery of edge computing projects
Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in edge computing technology
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, user guides, and training materials
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to edge computing solutions
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams
Conduct performance testing and optimization of edge computing solutions
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new hardware and software for edge computing projects
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in edge computing technology

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing edge computing solutions
Solid understanding of edge computing architectures, protocols, and technologies
Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Certifications in edge computing, cloud computing, or virtualization are a plus.
