Job Title: Cloud Specialist

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $190000 - $224000

Position Overview: As a Cloud Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions for our organization. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of cloud-based projects, from planning and architecture to deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise in developing cloud solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions that align with our organization's business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify the best cloud services and tools to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints, documentation, and diagrams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to ensure maximum performance and availability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling resources as needed.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure that cloud solutions comply with security policies and procedures.
• Work with development teams to integrate on-premise and cloud-based systems.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud technologies and services.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in cloud computing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Bash.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications in cloud technologies are a plus.
