Job Title: Junior Data Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's data architecture. You will work closely with our data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the data engineering team to design and implement efficient data models and architectures for our data warehouse
• Work closely with data analysts to understand their reporting and analysis needs and translate them into data structures and schemas
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality checks to identify and resolve any data issues
• Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues reported by end-users
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management and architecture, and make recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data engineering
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Familiarity with ETL tools and techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and analyze large datasets
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of data governance principles and data privacy regulations is a plus
