Job Title: Principal Cloud Consultant

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $310000 - $360000

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex cloud solutions to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide strategic guidance on how to leverage cloud technologies to drive innovation and achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients succeed in their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud computing, providing guidance and recommendations to clients on the best cloud solutions for their business needs.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions, including infrastructure, applications, and data migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing IT infrastructure and make recommendations for cloud adoption and optimization.
• Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and training to educate clients on cloud technologies and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in cloud computing, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team and clients.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Strong expertise in at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex cloud projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience with DevOps, automation, and scripting tools is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time, on-site position that may require occasional travel to client sites. The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and constantly evolving.
