Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead IT Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. As the Lead IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for the overall security of our company's information systems, networks, and data. You will lead a team of IT security analysts and work closely with other departments to ensure the highest level of security for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of our company's information systems, networks, and data.
• Lead the IT security team in conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and analyze security logs, events, and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls and technologies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on IT security best practices.
• Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in incident response activities and lead investigations to identify the root cause of security incidents and implement necessary remediation measures.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure the security of our systems and data.
• Mentor, train, and provide guidance to junior IT security analysts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security risks.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, etc.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
