Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Release Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Software Release Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software release process, from planning and coordination to execution and delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality software releases that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement release management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective software releases
• Lead release planning meetings with product, development, and quality assurance teams to identify release scope, timelines, and dependencies
• Monitor the progress of software development projects and identify potential roadblocks or delays in the release process
• Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders, including management, clients, and partners
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure code is properly tested, reviewed, and approved for release
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of software releases
• Manage and maintain release schedules, including prioritizing and rescheduling releases as needed
• Monitor and improve release processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and quality
• Conduct post-release reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in release management, and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall release process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software release management, preferably in a senior or lead role
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software releases on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of software development processes, tools, and methodologies
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles and practices
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery processes is a plus
• Certification in release management or project management is a plus
