Job Title: Embedded Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $92 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Embedded Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of our cutting-edge embedded systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional team of engineers to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded software for a variety of products and applications
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
• Write efficient and well-structured code for real-time and resource-constrained environments
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure code quality and functionality
• Participate in code reviews to identify and address any potential issues
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software and systems
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in embedded development to continuously improve our products and processes
• Support the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
• Experience working with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, and USB
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, including version control systems, debugging tools, and Agile/Scrum
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
