Summary

As a Senior Database Developer at Lobox, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's databases. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our databases are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability. This is a senior-level position that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of database management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly performant and scalable databases for our software products.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand their database requirements and translate them into efficient database designs.
• Write complex database queries and stored procedures to support application functionality.
• Monitor database performance and make necessary optimizations to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper backup, recovery, and access control procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and tools and make recommendations for improvements to our existing database systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience with database performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
