Salary: $171000 - $208000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that support our organization's operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems while also managing the day-to-day technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain complex systems that support the organization's operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system requirements
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration management and disaster recovery plans
• Implement and manage security protocols to ensure the protection of our systems and data
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system improvements
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
• Mentor and train junior systems engineers to enhance their technical skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering
• Strong understanding of network protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Bash
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of database management systems, such as SQL Server or Oracle
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP), are a plus
