Job Overview: As a Junior Application Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security of our clients' applications and systems. You will be responsible for identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing measures to prevent cyber attacks. You will work closely with our team of experienced security professionals to develop and maintain a strong security posture for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments of applications and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Perform source code review and penetration testing to identify and resolve security issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Participate in the development and execution of security training programs for employees
• Assist with the implementation of security tools and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application security
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and security principles
• Experience with penetration testing tools and techniques
• Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
