Job Overview: As a Junior Software Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report any issues or bugs in our software, as well as provide recommendations for improvements. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be key in maintaining the high standards of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and user stories
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of our software products
• Identify, report, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, investigate, and resolve reported issues
• Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Communicate test progress, results, and issues to stakeholders and project managers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
