Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Release Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Release Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the release management process and ensuring successful delivery of software products and updates to our customers. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement release management strategies and processes
• Manage the release calendar and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases
• Oversee the development and maintenance of release documentation, including release notes, user guides, and training materials
• Lead and mentor a team of release managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the release process
• Monitor and track release metrics to continuously improve the release process and ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate release statuses, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in release management and incorporate them into our processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in release management, preferably in a lead or managerial role
• Strong technical background with experience in software development and release processes
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software releases
• Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred
• Knowledge of release management tools and processes is a plus
