Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Salary: $107 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our organization's systems and data. You will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to cybersecurity threats, conducting security assessments, and providing guidance and support to other members of the cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our organization's systems and data.
• Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats, including conducting incident response and managing security incidents.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to our cybersecurity program.
• Provide guidance and support to other members of the cybersecurity team, including mentoring and training junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security requirements are integrated into all aspects of our organization's systems and processes.
• Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and government agencies to stay informed of emerging threats and trends.
• Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Communicate cybersecurity risks and issues to senior management and make recommendations for mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a strong background in security operations.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• In-depth knowledge of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Experience with security incident response and crisis management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
