Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Build Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Software Build Engineer, you will play a critical role in our software development process by overseeing the build and release management activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the build and release management process for all software products
• Develop and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand project requirements and implement efficient build and release solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues
• Ensure the security and integrity of all software releases
• Continuously improve and optimize build and release processes
• Identify and implement tools and technologies to enhance the build and release process
• Mentor and guide junior team members in build and release best practices
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in build and release methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software build and release management
• Strong knowledge of build and release tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Artifactory
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl
• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
