Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using industry best practices
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and management of cloud resources
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
Identify and implement cost optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses
Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve our cloud environment
Work closely with security team to ensure adherence to security policies and standards
Document processes and procedures to maintain a knowledge base for future reference
Provide support to other teams on cloud-related issues and inquiries

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud engineering or related role
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of networking concepts and experience with virtual networking in the cloud
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Knowledge of security best practices in the cloud is a plus
Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
