Position Overview: As the Lead Cloud Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of automation tools and processes. Your expertise in cloud automation will be crucial in streamlining our operations and optimizing our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of automated cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automation tools and processes into the software development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing automation processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in cloud automation and make recommendations for implementation.
• Train and mentor junior automation engineers to ensure a high level of technical expertise within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to automation processes and tools.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud automation engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in leading a team and mentoring junior engineers.
• Certifications in cloud automation and/or cloud platforms is a plus.
