Job Overview: As a Senior IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all systems and networks. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with systems, networks, or applications
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company's data and systems
• Manage and maintain backups of critical data and systems
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement new systems and upgrades
• Monitor and analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with training on new systems and applications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvements within the company's IT infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications
• Experience with virtualization and cloud computing technologies
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are a plus
