Job Description: Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Performance Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the Lead Software Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our software systems and ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of performance engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of our software products.
• Define and implement performance testing strategies and methodologies to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and execute performance test plans, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with developers to identify and troubleshoot performance issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts and scenarios to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
• Monitor system performance in production and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools and dashboards to provide real-time insights into system performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in performance testing and optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Performance Engineer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in performance testing and optimization of large-scale, complex software systems.
• Proficient in performance testing tools and methodologies, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools, such as New Relic or AppDynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of performance engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
