We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Senior Network Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our network infrastructure and protecting our organization against cyber threats. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Monitor network activity and investigate any potential security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on network security, providing guidance and support to other members of the team.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in network security, making recommendations for improvements and advancements as needed.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security controls into network infrastructure and ensure the security of new systems and technologies.
• Provide training and education to employees on network security best practices and procedures.
• Act as a liaison with external security vendors and partners, ensuring the timely resolution of any security-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
• Proficient in security assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security is a plus.
