Job Overview: As a Lead DevOps Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing automated processes for our software development, testing, and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our software products. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers, driving continuous improvement, and championing best practices in automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated processes for software development, testing, and deployment, using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop automation strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and scripts for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and issues in the automation process, and implement solutions to improve overall efficiency and performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow and succeed.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, and continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance our automation capabilities.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of software products, and provide technical expertise and support as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for enhancing our automation processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or automation engineering role.
• Strong experience with automation tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Docker.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
• In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
