Job Overview: As a Senior API Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in our organization by leading the integration efforts for our clients' systems and applications. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient API integrations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any integration issues that may arise, ensuring a seamless integration experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their integration requirements and design custom API solutions that meet their business needs.
• Develop and maintain API integration strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Implement and test API integrations using various tools and technologies, including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze API performance and make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest API trends, tools, and technologies and recommend updates or changes to the integration process.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior integration specialists and other team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and quality assurance, to ensure successful delivery of integration projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in API integration, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of API design principles, standards, and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Solid understanding of database design and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.
