Lobox is seeking a talented Principal API Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Principal API Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our API integration solutions for our clients. This is a crucial role within our organization, as API integrations play a vital role in our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design API integration solutions for our clients
• Develop and maintain API integration frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior integration specialists
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to API integrations
• Work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide customized API integration solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest API technologies and industry trends
• Document all integration processes and provide training to internal teams as needed
• Continuously improve and optimize existing API integration processes to enhance efficiency and performance
• Lead and manage API integration projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain API-related documentation, such as API reference guides, integration guides, and API usage policies
• Act as the subject matter expert for all things related to API integrations, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in API integration development
• Proven track record of designing and implementing API integration solutions for enterprise-level clients
• Strong understanding of API design and development principles, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL
• Experience with API gateway solutions such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or AWS API Gateway
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Working knowledge of integration tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, or JMeter
• Experience with API security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
